ROTARY FURNACE

The purpose of furnaces in this context is to melt various metals such as aluminium cans, copper, bronze, brass, and lead scraps. There are two main types of furnaces mentioned: static rotary furnaces and tilting rotary furnaces, with capacities ranging from 1 to 15 metric tons for static rotary furnaces and 1 to 8 metric tons for tilting rotary furnaces, depending on customer requirements. The furnaces consist of several key components, including a rotating cylinder made of iron plate with truncated cone heads, isolating and refractory material inside the cylinder, and a motor-driven rotation system controlled by a variable-frequency inverter. For tilting rotary furnaces, there is an additional tilting system assembled on a special steel base, allowing controlled spillage of melted metal. The gas hood and burner, located in a refractory-lined door, are crucial for the combustion process. A centrifugal blower fan provides combustion air, and exhaust gases are collected by an overhead exhaust hood. The refractory lining is designed based on the temperature and metal alloy in the furnace. Finally, an electrical panel is responsible for controlling the furnace and the automatic burner system
