SLIDE GATE

Slide gates are used to control the discharge of bulk materials from various sources, such as hoppers, bins, silos, or conveyors. They consist of a rigid frame with a slide plate that opens and closes against material flow, and can be actuated manually, pneumatically, electricly, or hydraulically. The slide gate assembly uses bolted covers for easy maintenance and is a great complement to bulk material handling and processing equipment. They are commonly used at intermediate discharge points on conveyors, silos, and below centrifuges to divert liquids and solids.
